Dane Tekin
Senior Vice President of Retail Leasing, Brokerage

Dane Tekin is Senior Vice President of Retail Leasing at Broad Street Realty.  Dane possesses over 20 years of combined experience in retail, merchandising, marketing, and leasing specializing in mixed-use projects.  In her current role, she is responsible for driving leasing and merchandising strategy for Broad Street’s premiere properties specializing in grocery-anchored, necessity-based retail.  She additionally, supports business development and asset management in identifying emerging retail trends, and new market concepts and providing a pipeline of relevant prospects. Dane specializes in interpreting changes in demographic trends, and analysis of psychographic data.

Experience

Prior to joining Broad Street, Dane Tekin spearheaded business development, local leasing, and pre-development for Centennial for Dulles Town Center in Sterling, VA. Prior to Centennial, Dane was with Madison Marquette, as Senior Director of Omnichannel and Retail Innovation leading the retail strategy for iconic projects such as the District Wharf, Washington DC, Asbury Park Boardwalk, Asbury NJ, Empire Outlets, Staten Island, Pacific Place, Seattle WA, Mercato, Naples FL, University Place, Chapel Hill, NC and more.

Education

Dane has a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Textiles from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia PA.  She is licensed in the state of Maryland.  She is also an active member of ICSC and an allied ASID member.

Personal:

In her free time, Dane enjoys CrossFit, Pilates, cooking, traveling, and discovering new cultures with her husband, 12-year-old daughter, and their Bichon Frise.
