Holly Gray
Vice President of Accounting
Holly Gray is the Vice President of Accounting at Broad Street Realty. In this role, she is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, internal controls implementation, tax and treasury. Since joining Broad Street in 2017, Holly has also served as Controller. In that role, she was responsible for the design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, the day-to-day accounting for the entire portfolio and corporate entities, and the recruitment and professional development of the accounting staff.
Experience
Holly has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. She has worked with the leading real estate investment trusts, property management and real estate development companies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She has served as Vice President of Finance for CRI, Inc., a regional REIT headquartered in Rockville, MD. At CRI, Holly focused on financial reporting, tax preparation as well as quarterly and annual SEC filings. Prior to CRI, Inc., Holly was Associate Director of Accounting at Tishman Speyer (DC Office). Ms. Gray focused on financial reporting for the firm's DC portfolio as well as lender reporting. Additionally, Holly was an Audit Manager at Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. where the majority of her clients were in the commercial real estate industry. Earlier in her career, she served in various positions at The John Akridge Company, Medical Office Properties REIT and Ernst and Young.
Education
Holly earned a BS in accounting from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Community/Personal Information
Holly Gray currently resides in Upper Marlboro, MD and is the mother of two daughters. She is an adjunct professor at Prince George's Community College where she teaches Spanish grammar and conversation in the Continuing Education Department.
Holly currently serves on the Board of Directors for St. Philip’s Child Development Center in Washington, DC.
Holly also serves as the newest Board Member of the SEED School of Washington, DC. The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, D.C. (SEED DC) is the nation’s first college-preparatory, public boarding school. Their mission is to provide an outstanding, intensive educational program that prepares children, both academically and socially, for success in college and beyond.
Holly also regularly participates in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons as well as half marathons.
