Michael Hutton
Senior Asset Manager
Michael began his career working for LaSalle Investment Management in Baltimore, focusing on asset management in the grocery-anchored retail sector. Later, he worked for the Baltimore-based diversified developer Atapco Properties, Inc., and Maryland-based retail petroleum developer The Wills Group, concentrating on real estate finance and development, across asset classes.
Subsequently, Michael worked at KPMG LLP in Manhattan, NY as a Manager in KPMG's Real Estate Consulting / Valuation practice area, before moving to Philadelphia in 2019 where he joined Carlino Commercial Development as VP of Finance & Asset Management. Michael joined Broad Street Realty in June 2021, where he will continue to focus on asset management in the grocery-anchored retail and mixed-use sectors.
Education
Michael is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park's Robert H. Smith School of Business, with a B.S. in Finance. He later earned a M.S. in Real Estate Development & Infrastructure from Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his Labrador retriever; he enjoys reading, as well as playing golf and squash.
