Broad Street Realty is a fully integrated real estate investment, development, and brokerage group based in Bethesda, MD.  Since 2002, we have acquired and developed properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and especially in the greater Washington DC area.

Broad Street offers internships for undergraduate and graduate student who are passionate about pursuing a career in the commercial real estate industry.  Our internships are paid, 10–12-week programs within one of Broad Street's divisions.  We have designed learning and development activities especially for you!

Participation in Broad Street's Internship program is intended to provide you with a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business and valuable skills, earned by working alongside our talented professions in one of the top commercial real estate firms. Our internship program not only accelerates your learning and development, but it also provides you with a unique perspective on our integrated business units.  As a Broad Street Intern, you will be provided an opportunity to create a strong foundation upon which to build your commercial real estate career!

Opportunity

We are in search of a student that is self-motivated, creative, and disciplined, seeking to excel in the commercial real estate industry to work alongside our amazing Acquisitions and Asset Management team! The opportunity will afford exposure to analyzing acquisition opportunities including pro forma financial analysis, lease review, and due diligence work.  Additionally, interns will assist with portfolio oversight including property performance, lease activity, market research, and compliance with lender requirements.

Qualifications

  • Interest in the real estate industry
  • Undergraduate junior or senior, or graduate student
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Intern (Denver)

Real Estate Broker

We are seeking dynamic and entrepreneurial individuals interested in a career in the commercial real estate field.

The open position is for a commercial broker looking to join a successful and fast-growing team. Compensation will be fee-based; however, the firm has an existing book of business and relationships, a unique selling proposition, excellent ongoing training and mentoring, and a vertically integrated platform to provide a prospective candidate with a strong foundation on which to grow their career.

Additionally, Broad Street offers the possibility of advances in the short term to help with revenue ramp-up and cost of living expenses.

An ideal candidate should have the following credentials and abilities:

  • 2-4 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in Commercial RE Brokerage
  • Maryland, Virginia, or DC real estate license
  • Ability to prospect corporations for meeting with C-level executives. No Fear!
  • Self-Discipline
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Strong negotiating skills, analytic skills, and financial acumen
  • General Working knowledge of the commercial real estate industry
  • Self-Starter and entrepreneurial by nature
  • Bachelor's degree from Accredited University
